✈️⚖️ Legal Training – Knowledge Transfer and Operational Expertise

In November 2025, I had the pleasure of designing and delivering a legal training program for the teams of Vietnam Airlines in France (Vietnam Airlines France & Europe), an airline widely recognized for its excellence and high standards of professionalism.

The training brought together participants holding diverse and complementary roles within the subsidiaries, fostering rich, demanding discussions and a strong level of expertise, both on legal issues and their practical, operational implementation.

An experience marked by the quality of exchanges, the commitment of the teams, and an approach firmly focused on practical know-how.

My experience of more than ten years in teaching, combined with professional practice, made it possible to keep pace — demanding, yet stimulating 🙂.

France and Europe attract entrepreneurs.
France and Europe attract entrepreneurs.

An entrepreneurial project has been validated by the French administration as part of a change of status to “entrepreneur / self-employed professional.”

The project was subject to a rigorous administrative review, confirming the viability and consistency of the proposed business activity.

Ceven Law supported the legal structuring of the project as well as the administrative procedure related to the change of status.

In France, several legal frameworks allow foreign entrepreneurs to develop their business activities, including the Talent Passport and the “entrepreneur / self-employed professional” status.

2025 Income Tax Return: Key Tax Changes to Keep in Mind for 2026
2025 Income Tax Return: Key Tax Changes to Keep in Mind for 2026

The filing period has already closed for taxpayers in Zone 1 and for French citizens living abroad. Taxpayers in Zones 2 and 3 still have until May 28 and June 4, respectively, to submit their online tax returns.🌷 In May, do as you please… but don’t forget your taxes. 😉

☀️ In June, enjoy the sunshine… after double-checking your tax return.

As these deadlines approach, we would like to highlight several important tax developments that may affect your situation.

✅ Withholding tax: default application of the individualized withholding tax rate for married couples and civil partners since September 1, 2025 (Finance Act 2024, art. 19).

🏠 Non-professional furnished rentals (LMNP): changes to the thresholds and allowances under the micro-BIC regime for certain furnished tourist accommodations (Law No. 2024-1039 of November 19, 2024, known as the “Le Meur Law”, art. 7).

🎁 Donations to organizations assisting people in need: 75% tax reduction on donations up to €2,000 per year (French Tax Code, art. 200).

💶 High-income taxpayers: continuation of the differential contribution designed to ensure a minimum effective tax rate of 20% for certain taxpayers (Social Security Financing Act 2026, art. 12).

🌍 French citizens living abroad: determining tax residency, applying international tax treaties, and electing the average tax rate require particular attention.

🔄 Even after filing a tax return, an amended return or a request for adjustment may allow certain errors or omissions to be corrected: forgotten income, inaccurate amounts, boxes checked in error, election of the average tax rate, or information affecting taxation.

📄 After review by the tax authorities, a new tax assessment notice may be issued and the withholding tax rate recalculated accordingly.

⚖️ As every situation is unique, personalized support can often help avoid filing errors, secure your tax position, and optimize your choices while remaining fully compliant with applicable regulations.
